Tip: Did you know water heaters need to be replaced every 10-15 years, and once the lining on the tank has been compromised, it will take up to a few years to finish rusting through, leaving you with rusty water; eventually, the tank will rust through, leaving you with a big leaking mess. Tank type and tankless water heaters need to be flushed out and cleaned once a year to keep sediment and scale from building up causing them to perform less efficiently.
"Hot water taking too long to get there?" The plumbing in your home may have been installed in an inefficient way allowing the hot water system to waste valuable water as you wait for the hot water to finally make its way to the point of use.
We can fix this problem by installing a recirculating pump on your water heater that will circulate the water at the furthest fixture so that when you turn on any tap, the hot water is right there or just within a second or two from any fixture in the house. Saving all that water from needlessly going down the drain, and now circulating, heating, and using it instead.
